Designed by our Co-founder and Head of Design, Gensen Chan, the extendable table collection showcases innovative design and functionality. Honored with the German Design Award 2020 in Excellent Product Design and the Dezeen Award 2019, it is celebrated for both its aesthetic and practical value. Conceived to address the space constraints of urban living in cities like Hong Kong, The Extentable Collection responds to the need for adaptable, space-efficient furniture.

With over a decade of experience in the furniture industry, LITOOC recognized the demand for transformable pieces, leading to the creation of our debut solid hardwood extendable dining table—a versatile solution for compact spaces in metropolitan areas worldwide. Crafted from premium solid hardwood, the extension table offers both durability and elegance, perfectly suited for modern living.

Sustainability is at the heart of The Extentable Collection. Each piece is crafted from responsibly harvested natural wood, designed to age gracefully and be cherished for generations. Refined through invaluable customer feedback, the collection reflects a blend of functionality and elegance inspired by Scandinavian design, meeting the needs of modern living spaces while offering the flexibility to pair seamlessly with stackable chairs.

Launched in 2018 after two years of research, the collection was temporarily withdrawn in 2020 to address improvements, particularly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which reshaped how we live and work. With a global client base and the opening of our Taiwan flagship store, we adapted the design to account for climate changes and evolving dietary habits that affect the durability of solid wood furniture.

In 2024, we proudly introduce The Extentable 2.0 — an evolution of the original design. Enhanced in every detail, it is perfect for contemporary living, offering both beauty and versatility. Whether featured as a statement solid wood extending dining table or paired with stackable chairs for added flexibility, The Extentable 2.0 is a timeless investment in modern elegance, built to last a lifetime.
