A Better Floor for Hong Kong Homes
Choosing flooring in Hong Kong is not simply about aesthetics. Climate plays a major role.
Humidity shifts throughout the year, air-conditioning runs constantly, and materials naturally expand and contract. Flooring that performs well in other countries may struggle here.
That is why we believe engineered wood flooring offers the most balanced solution for modern homes.
It preserves the warmth and authenticity of real timber while offering the structural stability required for Hong Kong’s environment.

Why We Introduced Timber Flooring
At LITOOC, our work has always revolved around wood.
We design solid wood furniture, craft bespoke pieces in Europe, and build custom cabinetry in Hong Kong. Over the years, many clients began asking the same question:
If the furniture is real wood, what about the floor beneath it?
Flooring became the natural extension of our work — the foundation that ties an interior together.
But we were never interested in simply adding another product line. If we were going to introduce timber flooring, it had to meet the same standards we apply to our furniture: honest materials, responsible sourcing, and craftsmanship that improves with time.
After years of searching, we found that partner in Sweden.

Why We Chose Berg & Berg
Berg & Berg is a family-run flooring manufacturer based in Kallinge, Sweden.
What impressed us most was not marketing, but discipline.
They manage their own forests and control production entirely within Sweden. Timber is sawn, dried, engineered, and finished under one roof, with every plank traceable from forest to floor.
In an industry where many brands outsource manufacturing across continents, this level of integrity is rare.
LITOOC became Berg & Berg’s exclusive distributor in Hong Kong because their philosophy aligns with ours — thoughtful craftsmanship, sustainability, and materials designed to last for generations.

Living With It
A floor is something you live with every day.
Many of our clients want materials that feel natural yet remain practical for daily life. Berg & Berg achieves this balance.
The surface is genuine European hardwood that feels warm underfoot and develops character over time. At the same time, its engineered construction provides the stability modern homes require.
In smaller Hong Kong apartments, flooring often flows across living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways. Berg & Berg’s calm grain selection and balanced colours allow spaces to connect naturally and quietly.
